Privacy Policy
How GLI Connect Solutions handles your information.
Last updated September 2, 2026.
GLI Connect Solutions ("GLI", "we", "us") provides software consulting management for international trade and freight forwarding. This policy explains what information we collect through our website at gliconnectsolutions.com and our client portal, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Contact requests. When you use the contact form or call us, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, company, email address, telephone number, and message.
- Client portal accounts. For clients who use the GLI client portal, we maintain account records including name, work email address, telephone number, organization, role, and sign-in activity. Organizations that enable single sign-on share basic profile information (name, email address, and account identifier) with us through their identity provider.
- Business data you upload. Contracts, rates, and related documents that clients upload to the portal are processed only to provide the contracted service and remain the property of the client.
- Technical information. Our servers automatically record the IP address, browser type, pages requested, and the date and time of each request. The client portal also keeps an audit log of account and data activity for security purposes.
Cookies
The public website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The client portal uses strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your working selections during a session. These cookies are not used to track you across other websites.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiries and schedule consultations.
- To create and administer client portal accounts and deliver the services our clients have engaged us for.
- To secure our systems, investigate suspicious activity, and maintain audit records.
- To communicate service notices, such as account creation, password resets, and upload alerts.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate, such as cloud hosting and email delivery providers, and only as needed for them to perform those services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a business transfer.
Data retention
We keep contact requests for as long as needed to respond and follow up. Client portal accounts and business data are retained for the duration of the client relationship and for a reasonable period afterward for backup, legal, and accounting purposes. Server and audit logs are retained for security purposes and then deleted.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, hashed passwords, and monitored audit logs to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us using the details below. Portal users can update their own password from within the portal and can ask their organization's administrator to update their account details.
Third-party links
Our website links to third-party sites such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
